There are many benefits of fitness training to prepare for pregnancy. Most do not realize that the weight of the baby at birth is connected to the weight of the mother when she conceives. If the mother is overweight there is a great chance the baby will be also,same if the mother is underweight, the baby can be underweight or premature. These conditions also raise the chances of health issues in the child.
After baby is welcomed into this world it is highly recommended to Breast feed AT LEAST for the first 2-3 weeks as mom is still producing colostrum which is most beneficial for the newborn. Breast feeding also has it benefits for mom helping with weight loss. Depending on type of labor mom had, physical activity might not be permitted for anywhere from 6-8 weeks, however you can drop a significant amount of excess fat during this period keeping in mind if breastfeeding, mom will have a higher fat intake strictly for baby’s benefit.
